The Incedible Hulk

Greetings again. I did not get to see this in the theaters. At the time we had Indiana Jones, Iron Man, and a few others. And to be honest, the Ang Lee Hulk never sat right with me until I was able to enjoy it on Blu-Ray recently. So I never went and saw this. My loss.

Please remember these are my views on the movie and how it looked on my theater system.

MOVIE:
The movie itself is amazing. I should have known that Edward Norton and Tim Roth would never be a part of this movie if the script was bad. The acting is top notch from both and Liv Tyler adds in her unique sweetness to her role. I kinda missed Sam Elliott as the general, but William Hurt filled in nicely. The story is pretty solid and the action scenes are awesome. Some of the chase scenes get a little boring, they could have spiced them up like Casino Royale's opening scenes but it might have been out of place here. Overall this movie is about as solid of a comic book movie you can ask for. I did not enjoy it as much as the Dark Knight or Iron Man, but it I can see my self watching this a few more times. I also loved the Robert Downey Jr cameo and set-up that started in Iron Man. Looking forward to the Avengers, if it ever gets green lit.

PICTURE QUALITY:
The Incredible Hulk has a 1080p 2.35:1 Widescreen, and it looked amazing on my TV. I did not notice any grain at all. The PQ was about as clear as you could ask for. The fight scene in the park is jawdropping. A couple of times I found myself thinking "Wow, this is one of the best transfers i've seen on Blu-Ray so far!" The picture on this Blu-Ray are pure reference material.

SOUND QUALITY:
Holy Crap is all I can say. When people come over and want to hear how good my sound system is from now on I will be playing the park scene from The Incredible Hulk. The fight between Tim Roth and the Hulk had ever speaker in my set-up pushed to the limit and jumping. The Incredible Hulk has a DTS-HD Master Audio track and it is one of the best on the market. If your a sound nut like I am, you need this.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
This disc is loaded with special features. It has everything from comics, deleted scenes, alt. scenes, and commentaries. The Incredible Hulk also includes a digital copy of the film. I would have liked a commentary with Edward Norton.

PACKAGING:
The Incredible Hulk comes in a unigue green blu-ray case and has a pretty cool 3-D motion slip cover. I really liked the artwork. The only thing I did not like about the packaging was that the digital copy came in a seperate white case instead of a spot in the actual case itself. Other than that the case/packaging is pretty standard

You won't be disappointed. As has been mentioned here on the forum many many times PQ and AQ are outstanding.
