Default Blu-rays or Gas?

With the price of Blu-rays dropping and the price of gas going up. What will you choose when it comes down to your last bit of spending money each month? Keeping a busy lifestyle and driving all over the place or being more of a homebody sitting in the comfort of you favorite chair watching a new Blu?

While I try to steer away from any conversation over gas prices because mainly it's now become an annoying topic. And also, people are pointing their fingers in the wrong direction, but it's too hard to steer away from. With that in mind, I drive a Diesel-powered Jetta that gets awesome gas mileage, but then again I just paid $4.50/ gallon for it, but then again, I only have to put in 13 gallons. But I do love Blu-rays. I sure do. Blu-ray! Blu-ray! Blu-ray!!!

They're releasing a larger TDI wagon, and we're going to order one for my wife.... gotta love 47-50 MPG eh? $450/gallon or not.... that's a DEAL!!!

My brother is on his second TDI Jetta..... 240K miles, and still going strong... those germans can certainly make a good Diesel Engine!!!!!

At what point was my post at all political? Fork-tongued is an offensive political gesture that there is not tollerance for in this thread. Why is your whole exsistance on this board negative?

Both. Gas is a necessity, Im not cutting down my driving at all for it - but I need Blu-rays! While Im not rich by any means Im still not "gravely" affected by the $3.99 Im having to pay per gallon.

Forked-Tongued is not held exclusively for Political discussion..... I'm suggesting your thread has a hidden agenda.....

And Yeah... my posts are all negative, but I can pull up a plethora of posts by you, and many others, *****ing about the prices of gas in various ways....... I suppose that's your idea of a "Positive" post. If I said "Oh yeah, gas prices suck" then that post would be acceptable to you?

Don't create threads fishing for sympathizers to your "woe is me, gas is expensive" cause, if you don't want "Negative" posts.

There is nothing about this post that was political or intended to be political. Please enlighten me on these “plethora of posts” of me “*****ing about the prices of gas” I’d love to see all of them.

Nothing about this post is or was intended to serve any agenda.
Fact - Gas is going up.
Fact - Blu prices are dropping.
What are you trying to fabricate from my simple post with no hidden meaning? Put down the pipe dude because paranoia has taken over.

And I was stating that "Fork-tongued" isn't exclusive to political discussion...... you are the one accusing ME of attacking your post for being political.... which is something I never did......

We can agree to disagree. I'll leave it at that. (Although I don't really think we're in disagreement, just not fully understood by one another.... )

Accusing those of being a Neo-Liberal is where the term Fork-Tongue derived from which is what made your comment political. It’s always good to know the meaning of words or phrases before you use them.

Rarely do words hold the same meaning over time as their original usage. I said I didn't use it with a political connotation, if you don't want to believe me, that's your prerogative.

I didn't find the "Neo-liberal" meaning during a simple search (I searched out of curiousity, because I always thought it had roots to biblical times etc... i.e. serpents etc.... but I'm always readily available to admit when I speak out of turn.... but I didn't find any evidence to dispute me when I said Fork-Tongued wasn't exclusively used for political discussions)

When you say "Driving all over the place" are you referring to the act of operating a motor vehicle, or are you referring to the act of navigating a carriage, or pounding a nail into a board...... both definitions that were around prior to motor vehicles being invented.

I'm sorry you took the political reference from my statement, and once again, I assure you it wasn't intended that way.
