Player will not play.... - Blu-ray Forum

I recently purchased Hitman, the disc will load act like it's going to play and the screen returns to the basic blue. I have a number of other BD's that have no trouble playing. Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening, know how to fix it, and or have the trouble themselves?

Help greatly appreciated.

I have a Sharp Blu-ray player, I've had it roughly 3 months with no issues. I don't know if there's some sort of upgrade I need to make to the player or what.... furthermore, if that's the case, I have no idea how to go about this upgrade.

Almost certainly a firmware issue.
