Exclamation How do you backup your important PC files?

This is time for you to consider backing up if you never have, or a reminder to backup again if it has been a while. If you can't remember the last time, then it's been a while!

I use floppies to back up my 160GB HDD. It's very efficient.

Start now, and I will send you a case of floppies. Then I will check back in a couple of weeks to see how things are going.
Haha.

I have my computers, a laptop and a desktop, wirelessly networked in the same workgroup. I do file and printer sharing on both. Whenever I make a change on one (new music, files, photos, etc.), I copy it to the other.

Have fun uploading 80 gigs. You should probably consider a backup hard disk.

Time machine is good and i used it for a while but i find a bootable clone soooo much easier to deal with if your HD goes caput. You can still use your computer exactly as is was while your HD goes for repair or you wait for a new one.

Mac guys should check out Super Duper. (Sorry don't know any Windows ones)

None of the above.

Disc are slow and only contains 4G or space unless you buy those double, triple layer DVDs, still pain in azz.

many different 250/500/750 GB external HDs that are not connected to my desktop or laptop when not in use. I download/save/do everything on the desktop's own 500 GB,

All important files are saved in external HDs.

with USB/firewire, transfer is instant.
