I watched it with subtitles on and didn't seem to miss anything. If it's the whispering, it's not important.

Note that there's a couple times when the Jessica Alba shifts her focus away, and you're not meant to hear it.

little noise helps other people understand what going on in the movie, its IMPORTANT!


try watch tv without sound and subtitles tell you whats happening, you would be sooo lost as i am without SDH subtitling and you would be PISSED OFF!

Caligula i feel for you, i have 2 cosins that are def, and one of them waches movies just like the rest of us. even though i have yet to hear from him about what yout talking about, maby cause he still waches dvd's? do they have SDH on all dvd's? tv has SHD, i really dont know why studios dont use it *clueless* *help*

When you guys speak of 'background noise' do you mean if like music is playing in the background it says that music is playing and what type? Or do you mean like if a couple behind the main people are talking it tells you that they are talking?

telephone ringing, or stove beeping or screaming or whatever noise is heard in background during the movie. Its important to include for people who cant hear and understand whats going on. Lionsgate is only studio doesnt provide sdh only dialogue english subtitle. I did not realize "the eye" is lionsgate release and it pissed me off everytime i watch lionsgate good movies knowing i will miss lot during movie.

Thats what I was assuming, thanks for clearing it up for me. I find it disappointing as well that not all movies do this too. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that they HAVE to do it because it is their decision, but its something that will only help them in them long run and make their movies enjoyable by more.

BDA should do something about this because lionsgate is licensed to distrubte blu-ray. BDA should enforce all studios to have subtitles including sdh and other foreign subtitles. Is blu beyond high Definition experience? If they dont enforce subtitles and they are failing to provide that experience.

I think it has something do with studio being in Canada. US's law (ADA) must provide accessiblity to people who need it.
