Can't wait to get the Matrix films on Blu-ray here. I just hope they don't use double sided discs like on the HD DVD version. Surely they won't...

I'm more interested in the date. Maybe we'll get the same (although the 18th cuz that's a Tuesday)

Would probably be the same day speed racer streets - although with how much money they need to remake on speeds dvd/blu release, they'd be much better off releasing it on it's own, some week with very little competition.

I don't even think Blu-ray/DVD combo discs are possible...

The HD DVD release of the trilogy wasn't the typical WB standard/high-def combo discs, though. The second side contained the supplements I believe. But I doubt they'd have reasons to do that on a BD50.

Here's to hoping that double-sided Blu-ray discs aren't possible...

If it's just a laser and data it should be easily possible.

Have you seen the new 300GB optical storage discs? (holographic). The burners cost $18k USD.

Btw, I have to start changing my USD designations to EU or CAD since the USD is on its way out lol

The Amero is another story.

Default Warner Japan announces Matrix Boxset

It has 4 blu-ray discs and 3 DVDs of special features. Wonder what we'll get in the States? Too bad the features are DVD instead of BR discs. Still, if it's coming to Japan on 11/19, you can guess the US/Europe will probably get it somewhere around there. Maybe to go with a Speed Racer release?

Doh! Didn't realize there was another thread.

I'll go for the regular boxset. This is a bit to expensive for me.

Does PlayAsia have it listed yet? Maybe it is cheaper? (I'm at work and that site is blocked for me.)
