Angry Matrix Boxset Opinion...?.?.?.?

hello, i am wondering what you guys think of the Matrix Box Set case? The movies are amazing and everything is fine except one thing. I DO NOT like the super thin blu ray cases . Does anyone else get bothered by this. I would rather just have 3-4 regular sized cases like the Bourne set is. I will probably just take the Blu's out of the case because it messes up the look of my collection. Post what you guys think of this, just want to get everyone's opinion. Thanks!!

I'll be honest it doesn't bother me a bit....as long as the movies are top notch then I'm good to go...and the thin cases save me shelf space...

The slim cases don't bother me at all. What does bother me is the thicker UK Blu-ray cases.

Agreed.....plus I put all my box sets together in a seperate area away from my single tiles. I think it looks nicer that way.

The packaging doesn't bother me, The thin cases save space if anything. I don't sit here and look at the packaging. What do you think of the box sets like I Am Legend with those oversized boxes? The Notebook, Casablanca...

I don't care. I remember a time when we were starving for any good titles on BR, and now that we are getting them, the cases or packaging is seondary for the most part. Just glad to have the movies we like on Blu period.

Except for the rediculous Harry Potter box set.

As long as they are not the digibook or some other case I do not care how thick/thin they are.

If I had my choice they'd be in standard cases. I don't particularly like the look of the thin cases. I just kept mine in the box and it's on the shelf with the box spine facing out. It looks alright. If I ever have occasion to order some cases I'll probably buy some extra for these discs and print out some artwork for them, but it's nowhere near the top of my priority list.

Wink Thin cases are alright (in the holder).

I agree with the posters that say the thin cases are no big deal. They all fit quite nicely in the holder. The films look fantastic in Blu-ray (I watched The Matrix and just last night watched The Matrix Reloaded).

i really see no big deal with the small cases. i kinda like having the whole set together and it takes up less space. kinda makes sense to me.

I would like all Blu Ray cases to be that thin as long as they keep the dust out, and they do. Imagine if all cases were like that how many Blu Ray's you could fit on one shelf.

i would actually prefer a standard size blu case for each of the movies and then the extras. still haven't gotten a chance to try and make my own though.

The thin cases don't bother me as much as the digibooks (yes, I know some people love them) or the ridiculous collector's editions like Casablanca.

The good news is that there are a lot of GREAT custom cover sites out there that the case issue can be resolved fairly easily. I just bought a bunch of new blu-ray cases to help fix this issue.

Use to bother me... same with the FRENCH writing on the side of the Canadian Blu-Ray's... but now... meh... we're paying money for the movie itself now "what" it comes in... I just roll with the punches now

Bsides... you could always buy the standard Blu-Ray cases and Im sure somewhere out there someone will do some custom sleeves for the Matrix movies

Cheers

I close my cabinet up now so I don't have to see the off cases. So now the Matrix and Dirty Harry don't bother me anymore! Thank god for cabinets!
