Default the movies that made you thinking afterwards (or that ll stay in your head)

the movies that made you think (or that ll stay in your head), by that i mean those for example that made me thinking there are the fountain, matrix, the butterfly effect, etc, it s philosophic or almost, and those that will stay forever in my head (which are part of my favorite movies) there are american history x(emotion, racism etc), fight club(capitalism, search for eternal, beauty etc at all cost, etc), will hunting(emotion at the end with robin and matt , such good actors performances etc)

so here it is

made me think
the fountain
the matrix
the butterfly effect
the thin red line
v for vendetta

those which will stay in my head
romeo+juliet
american history x
will hunting
the thin red line

Defitnitly agree with the THE FOUNTAIN, THIN RED LINE, and AMERICAN HISTORY. Here's a few more, THE USUAL SUSPECTS, UGETSU, DEATHPROOF, KILLING ZOE, shit, there's too many of them.

Sure some people may have thought it was overrated, but I just think that it was parodied too many times for some people to take it seriously.

Recent: Gone Baby Gone and to a certain extent, Oldboy.

The Prestige and Memento had me searching the web after watching them so I'd probably put those in my list as well.

Dark City stayed with me a long time, and when I saw the Matrix all I could think was, wow somebody ripped off the idea of Dark City and changed it to computers. It still is hands down one of my favorite "How do you really know?" movies.
