music player for blu ray - Blu-ray Forum

im new into all this Blu Ray stuff...but i thought of something the other day, i thought to myself that since Blu Ray could hold so much memory that if Sony or whoever makes a Blu Ray cd player or car deck or w/e then we wont be needing ipods no more because people could just buy one of the blank disc media and just burn their songs in it...does anyone know if one is coming soon or am i dreaming too far?

based on the fact that you can play mp3 cds in many car stereos and that never gained foothold, i doubt a blu ray disc loaded with mp3s would be any different. drive based music players are the future, unfortunately ipod is included in that camp.
