Panasonic Blu-ray SC-BT100 will it play HD DVD? - Blu-ray Forum

Setting up my home theater and my Panasonic SC-BT100 will be here Wednesday by UPS. I jumped the gun and won 4 titles of HD DVD on Ebay. Does anbody know if this machine will play the HD DVD? If not I can resell. I also have a regular Pioneer DVD player and recorder, I wonder if will work on it, I don't necessarily care if is HD. I will be using a Panasonic TH-50PZ850 on order and is expected to arrive in about 7-10 days. I like some of the titles in HD DVD which is not in the Blu-ray format just yet.

I checked the specs. of the SC-BT100 after I bid on the 4 titles, only out $30.00 if they will not play in any form. Thanks GT

Nope. Thats why its a bluray player.
