Default Kung Fu Panda for PS3

Has anyone had the chance to play Kung Fu Panda for the PS3? I was going to pick it up for my son who is 4 years old. He is able to play games like shrek 2 and madagascar for the ps2 but we bought him Ratatoullie for the PS3 and found the gameplay / controls very difficult for younger kids. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Its a good games....I rented it at Blockbuster for the Wii.

You start out with only 2 characters from the movie and as you play you can unlock the other characters, there is 1 person story mode and a 2 person fight mode where you basically fight the other characters from the movie.

My boys prefer the story mode because the more you play you unlock different boards and characters.

Not a bad game for kids they will enjoy it and the graphics are pretty cool.

What about the game play itself? Would a 4-year old be able to play it?

I played the demo on the 360 a couple weeks ago and like it (my kids liked it to).

I just ordered it on the PS3 and they are anxiously awaiting it. The movie was pretty entertaining too.

A 4-year-old might be able to play. It really depends on the kid. I'd rent it first to see.

I opened up my copy today and beat the game.

It was very fun (surprisingly).

OP, there are some parts of the game that might be challenging/frustrating for a 4 year old (jumping on sinking lilly pads and other timing events).

The game has 3 settings and also multiplayer, which is cool. You collect special coins during the game to unlock multiplayer stuff.

Overall, the game was an 8 out of 10 for me. My kids loved it too.

It followed the movie fairly well too.
