Default t/s onkyo 805

Im having a weird issue with my reciever where when I play movies on blu-ray with an dts-hd master sound track it makes a loud poping noise through all my speakers but this doesnt appen with any other soundtracks such as dolby hd any help would be apreciated with this issue thanks.

Read this entire thread. You need to update your DSP'S by the sound of what you describe. It is very easy to do all the info is in that thread. And don't listen to any more DTS-MA tracks until you do you could blow out your speakers.

Oops sorry I forgot to paste the link in I am at work on my phone now so I can't link it. In avs forum it is under blu ray players and the thread title is dts ma bomb. Sorry about that I really feel bad. If you can't find it pm me and I will send you the link tomorrow with a link on where to download the dsp update and explain how to do it with a ps3 if you have one otherwise you need a old school cd player and a toslink cable. Most dvd players will not do the update. You need about 1 to 1 1/2 hours cause you need to input all your settings and run audyssey again.
