PS3 sound sync. - Blu-ray Forum

When watching HiDef content from my external drive the audio goes out of sync when played through my sound system (Optical connection). Blu's play fine and the sound is perfect when played through HDMI connection to the TV. There are no HDMI connections on the surround, its basic but does the job.

Any tips?

What kind of receiver do you have ? I know on my Onkyo's there is a lipsync option that you can adjust to prevent such an occurance

no hdmi? then i would think its the video itself on th hdd.

Plays fine through the TV using HDMI.

Its an acoustic solutions receiver, very basic. Blu's play fine through optical output only thing that doesn't is the video on the hdd.
