True! Sick of all those baby horror flicks...
I think this will be more of a rental than a theater ticket or a buy for me.
Just looks too much like a lot of the recent Hollywood remakes of asian horror films.

People who think PG-13-rated horror films are automatically inferior or lesser to their R-rated brethren I seriously do not understand and beg to differ. It does not matter what the rating of any given movie is as, ultimately, it all comes down to the story and characters itself and how things are presented/told.

Three perfect examples of excellent PG horror movies are Jaws, The Changeling and Poltergeist. The Ring as a PG-13 was also quite good.

On the subject of Mirrors however, I love the trailer and this might actually be worth seeing.

+1! I love everything Aja does! I tell ya french horror is amazing these day alot of directors coming out with some serious distubing stuff can't wait for Martyrs coming out on Dimension Extreme release(next year ). Also check out Inside which also f*&$ed up! But I read somewhere the blockbuster Extreme Dvd release is edited a bit.
