Question 'The Long Hot Summer'

Hello again,

just like my previous thread, I don't know anything about this one either.
And again, my father wanted it on DVD, but again it's not widely available.
So does anyone like this film and also want to see it on BD?
Or perhaps it might already be coming anyway?

I'm referring to the remake starring Don Johnson by the way.
But feel free to discuss any version.
