Default Wireless router stopped connecting!

I have a Linksys wireless router and it has been working fine for quite some time now! But recently i lost the connection on my computer and ps3, i checked my router and the internet light is not lit. i assumed it must just be a "ip" problem and left it for a few hours.when i returned it still would not connect to the internet. i swapped it with my wired router and everything was fine! just polugged it all in and into my pc and bam no problem. so i have tried doing a reset on the wireless and run through the install software and the most i can get is the internet light to shine red! i will get through whole process where it downloads laungage packs etc, but it just dosnt turn green.

any help would be greatly appreciated! im not the best with internet stuff but it always used to be so simple setting up this wireless box!

many thanks dave,

hey, do the 192.168.1.1. address on internet explorer. make sure you connect the pc straight to the router. there it will tell you if the wireless is up or down. if down, you can turn it on and add a password.
