ps3 bluetooth headset stopped working. - Blu-ray Forum

well as the title states, my bluetooth headsets mysteriously stopped working. my bluetooth is a jawbone, and it's paired with my ps3. i usually play rainbow six vegas 2 and have had no problem till a few days ago, when people could not hear me and i could only hear them. The bluetooth also stops working when not in use for a little (5 minutes or so). It did not do this before. Does anyone know what is going on with this? or have experienced this now/before? thanks in advance!

Deleteing the device and repairing it usually does the trick.

hahaha... you make it sound like he has to take them apart and perform surgery on them!!!

I believe what Aaron is trying to get across is that the "re-pairing" and not "repairing" of the headsets often rectifies this type of scenario.

it seems to be getting better. i dont know if it was the same as it was when i first got it working on my first bluetooth though. i'll keep a close eye on things though.

I just bought the Jawbone 2 so I could use it with the PS3 and my new iPhone. I paired it with the PS3 the first time and it worked fine. I tried to use it last night and ended up having to pair it again because it would not connect? I turned it on prior to connecting with the PS3 with no joy. I hope I don't have to pair it everytime I want to use it.

i've noticed that the jawbone 2 only connects on "some" games if their are players present to hear them. ala rainbow six vegas 2.
