Default Matrix Trilogy

Anyone any idea when or even if these movies will be converted for Blu Ray release ?

I was impressed by the Blu Ray conversion of Blade Runner and hope the above will be of simillar if not better standard.

Any information appreciated

Hell, it better be a better transfer then Blade Runner, that's from 20 yrs back. I would expect alot more from movies not nearly as old. Not to say Blade Runner wasnt good for an ancient movie.

hello liverpool home of the you know who's.
if you saw the matrix on hd dvd wow the bd should be a 5.0 in the pq dept.
since its a warners title, the same master will be used.
i never heard a reason why warners released the matrix on hd dvd and not blu-ray,but most likey because they couldn't do pip and other special features

Yeah, I believe it was because they were unable to make use of PIP.
Looking forward to this release as well as the Batman Anthology.

Just wanted to tell people, that the Matrix is on preorder at hmv.co.uk ... and they are not using placeholders like amazon. This should be for real.

Picture Quality on the HD DVD version of Matrix-1 was excellent despite the EE but the PQ on 2 & 3 were just above average.
