Anyone have a volume issue with 96kHz DTS tracks? I'm running a PS3 to an Onkyo 605 and generally speaking, anywhere from 60 to 70 is a comfortable listening level for virtually anything, but last night I tried out Peter Gabriel's "Play" release and, on the DTS track, I had to crank the volume up to past 90 to get it to sound loud enough. I switched over to the DD5.1 track and I thought I was going to blow out my speakers it was so loud. Switching back over to the DTS track had the same effect, it was extremely quiet again. The only distinction I can find in this track as opposed to other tracks I've listened to is that the DTS is 96kHz. I have also played the 96kHz Dolby TrueHD track on "Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City" and there is no such volume issue. Why does this happen and is it normal?
