Who else wants Boogie Nights?! - Blu-ray Forum

I hope they release Boogie Nights on blu ray, easily one of PTA's great films. Does anyone know if New Line will plan on releasing this?

Not Me. It was a pretty crappy movie. But for the sake of all my fellow Blu Lovers I hope every move makes it to Blu at some point.

This is my most watched PTA movie. I just love it. Such a great cast and you can tell they were having a ball filming this!
Would be a Day 1 purchase for me... although a boxset would be quite intriguing as well!

i only seen the movie once many years ago but i remember liking it so i would like to see it on blu ray at some point.

I want ALL of PTA's movies on Blu-ray!!! There's already "There Will Be Blood" but BOOGIE NIGHTs, MAGNOLIA, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE were all sooo good!!!

I'd love to see it eventually but I already have the two-disc DVD and right now I'm focusing my dollars on stuff I don't already have on DVD... at least until Star Wars comes out one day.

Boogie Nights was a great movie and would love to have it on Blu. I think all those great songs from the 70's and 80's would sound great on a remastered DTSHD or Dolby TruHD soundtrack. I'm afraid I'd have to pass on Magnolia and Punch Drunk Love. I personally found these 2 to be very boring.

My favorite PTA films are this and Magnolia. Also, really like Hard Eight. Punch-Drunk Love is okay, but I don't rewatch it. There Will Be Blood is just not my thing.

I have an annual drunken [i]Boogie Nights[/]i viewing at my house, so YES. I'd very much like to see a BD release.

In fact, when you speak of the types of films that need to be be on BD, Boogie Nights is a perfect example.

It's a lengthy character-driven film, shot in scope with loads of colors and a great 70s and 80s soundtrack. It begs for hi-def.
