Biggest single Blu-ray purchase

So I was on Amazon the other day, filling my shopping cart with Blu-rays since I hadn't purchased any in a while. By the time I reached checkout, my cart totalled 10 movies and $217.60 - guess I was further behind than I realized.

Anyway, it got me to wondering......

What is the biggest single purchase of Blu-ray movies that any of you other Blu-bloods have made?

I usually just pick one at a time. My wife would kill me if I try to get more than one at a time. Shoot she makes a big deal when I want to get one. I would grab more then one if the deal was right and they had good titles available, which that combination rarely happens. a while back I got 2 in the same week, it was a target sale that had a bunch of titles for 19.99.

Back in the BOGO days, I bought 20 for $200 shipped.. Then later that week, I placed another hundred something dollar order... What can I say? I was new to Blu-ray back then.

The most I have bought in one day is 3 because Im only getting the titles I know I will watch over and over again. However I have Blow, L.A Confidential, and The Godfather(4 discs) so technically that will be my biggest day.

During our Boxing week here in Canada (Dec 26th - Dec 30th, sometimes longer) I bought a personal record of about 26 or 28 titles this past year. I can't remember the total, but I'm guessing that it was in the vicinity of $550.

I think my biggest was during an Amazon bogo. I spent about $75 and got 6 movies. The next closest was back during our Buy-a-thon days when we were trying to beat HD-DVD during important weeks. I bought four the day Transformers came out on HD-DVD.

When the BOGOs were going strong I think I dropped $260 at once and came away with well over 20 Blu-rays.

Sigh.... I just spent $252 on this B2G1 sale at amazon S.. but to be fair.. that order does include MSG4, so it's more like $193 on Blu's. The sad thing is that there are still about 40 on my "wanted" list, sooo I need to promptly win the lottery.

and $104.30 at xploited.com on Blu Rays also so that is probably my biggest ever and it'll be 2 good weeks before I'll be able to purchase anything else..LOL
