Is there a way to convert sub account into a main account? I deleted my main one and want to use that other account as main. It prevents me from using chat because of parental control even though it's off I can't use my mic in socom... this sucks
Also, whenever I try to make a new account it just makes one without asking if I want it as main or sub...

i'm in same boat and trying to work with Sony is a flippin nightmare. Let's see if we get any responses. Howver, I don't think you can do this and once your main account is created you are SOL.

Apparently you can't convert. Did you actually call sony and tried to work something out with them?
Also, like me it won't let you create a new master nor sub accounts?

As a last resort if I restore my PS3 *sigh* will I have the option to make my current (sub) account as master acc after format or will I have to create new account all together from scratch?
If I make a back up will my friends list be there?
