Default Trophy Patches To Start Rolling In After Thursday?

So there has been some rumors floating around that Sony was in some sort of contract to have Eden be the second game on the console with trophies. If that was the case they could very easily be holding back several trophy patches (possibly even ones we HAVENT heard of yet, namely for 1st party titles).

So in that thinking, trophy patches could start rolling out after Thursdays release of Eden.

I dunno...maybe just wishful thinking

I wish patches for in-game music would start rolling in too, but that is good to.

I know insomniac hasnt said anything on a positive note, but I would really love to see a ratchet and clank future trophy update. It seems like a no brainer considering that they were the first games to ever have a trophy system.

Eden was on track to have Trophy support quite a while ago. Monsters is the "rumored" game to get trophies (and in-game music). It seems the smaller PSN games are more likely to get trophy support and in-game music so far. I would think it is exponentially easier to add to those small games than for games like R & C.

So far, the only "big" game to get in-game music is Burnout (with Trophy support expected soon). I'm surprised PAIN hasn't added their trophy support yet.

I would love more/all games to have in-game music and trophy support, but for right now, the only big games that should have an update soon (next month or so) is Warhawk and Burnout.

I think you misread my post I was saying that it was rumored that Eden was contracted to be the 2nd game with trophies. Meaning there could be trophy patches being held back by Sony until Eden releases due to that contract.

I understand the concept, but in reality this does not really make any sense.

For starters Pixel Junk is not a big money company, and they really could not afford to pay a price for system wide exclusive feature access.

Not only that, but this is not really exlcusive access, as SuperStarDust already has trophy support so they would be paying to be second exclusive content on a system supported feature? Yeah, that makes little to no sense at all.

More likley the fact that the first couple games to support this feature are PSN download titles has more to do with development time, as it takes less time to develop a PSN game, than a full feature Blu-Ray disk game. Since this is a new feature and these titles take less development, it only makes sense that the first few games to support this feature are smaller PSN games.
