I keep reading these threads where people are getting Blu's early.

Which site has the best prices and cheapest shipping?

Tower.com has been known to ship some titles early. I personally prefer Amazon for its overall combination of price and service.

I order almost all my movies off of amazon and i have never received one early. I like Amazon the best because with Amazon prime, I get new release titles on Tuesday which is nice.

ive always used amazon, simply for there price and the fact that i have always gotten my item on the day of the release or one day after at the latest. Tower usually ships early as u can prolly see but sometimes the price is not as good as amazon, everyone will have there preferences but its all up to you.

Amazon is your best bet you can't beat there price and service.As for the early thing maybe once or twice I got a movie before the day it was to be release.

how many of you guys ordered from tower.com and received a pre-order 1-2 weeks before release date? DVD Pacific is known for that too? Any recent pre-order purchases DetroitSportsFan that have came in 1/2 weeks before release date for you?

the guy that said he got his Iron-Man from Tower.com is full of it

believe me ....besides that title Tower.com does ship items earlier....for example a lot of individuals have stated that their Godfather Collection has been received already.

I never order anything off amazon or play for the most part. I get most of my Blu-rays here in the u.k from a seller on ebay who is amzingly quick to dispatch and often has u.s blu rays in stock sometimes upto 2 weeks before the u.s street date. sometimes i've had a blu ray in my hand in the u.k before it's street date stateside..im talking mainly here about u.s discs as they often (though not always) comeout a few weeks before the u.k street date.

Amazon doesnt ship anything early, its a YMMV type thing but looks like the best chance is with Tower. incredipinoy for a long term member you offer some misleading information on a regular basis or maybe you want attention, who knows

Yeah Amazon is not a good place to get stuff early, I have ordered close to 60 movies from them and the new release always seem to get to my house days late not early.

I got Hulk Ang Lee's version and the Mist today all from tower.com.
Suprisingly I ordered these with Pirates of the Caribbean and that didn't come today Even though I got a email saying it had shipped.

I only use Amazon, they usually have the best price, they don't charge until they ship and I've only had one problem with an item I've ordered there (Artwork was pushed up to the top of the case, no problem with the disc).

I can tell you where not to order from. Family Video. I got my movie the Saturday after the Tuesday release date. There are members here claiming they get their movies the Thursday (and up until Monday) before the release date. I am guessing they're confused and think the release date is a week later than it actually is.

DVDEmpire.com ussually will get you your movies on the Monday before the release date if using the expidited shipping method.

Amazon.com will ussually ship the monday before the release date (unless using free shipping).
