I agree with Batman. Its at an all time high, they should stop while on top...But that would be the smart move, and they dont do that

It looks to me like they just picked any franchise with three or more movies. I don't agree with most of that list.

I agree with all of those movies on there, actually. Some of them should have stopped after one movie, while others should have stopped before the 4th installment. And then there are some that should not have been made at all.

i think he well may have a point though. the movie series is at an all time high. end it on that note. we've gotten 6 batman movies. we're starting to run out of stories to tell that don't repeat one or two of the movies that have already been made. i say end on a high note. and you can't get any higher than this.

I guess this is true, but I think Nolan's versions of the Batman series are so much different than what was previously filmed that I would not mind seeing some more Batman films directed by him.

There are definatley more worthy franchises that are NOT on that list and some on there shouldn't be.

1) Just tired of the Batman movies being milked George Lucas style
2) Sick of allllllllllllllllllll the TDK threads
3) Growing tired of all the threads lately complaining about sequals.

I agree completely and you said it in a more concise manner than I ever would have.

I agree with the article on a personal level. However, they will not stop making sequels as long as there is profit involved. Just basic supply and demand. Profit = demand for the film.
