Well my PS3 just died. I was watching Iron Man and halfway through the movie it started freezing and skipping. After many attempts to replay the movie (or any movie for that matter), I came to the sad realization that the PS3 is broken. I just filled out the online form for Sony to fix it. Unfortunately I bought it used and it lasted about 7 months, but I have no receipt so therefore no warranty. However, I couldn't put in the online order that I had no receipt. Does anyone know if they will still fix it and just charge the $150? I'm assuming that's the case. What bums me out is that there was no warning signs that something was going wrong. It played movies fine, with no issues, all the way up to today. Then out of nowhere it just stops. It's going to be a LONG 2 weeks. In case anyone cares it's a 40gb CECHG01 model.
