Default Panasonic DMP-BD35 stop playing disc's

Hey all,

I just played Dark Knight Blu-ray on the player then it wouldn't stop playing the movie after the credits. Then I held down the power button to turn the unit off. Now when I put in any disc's in the player it says "No Disk" after it tries to read it. The player has the latest firmware. I also did a hard reset on the player still won’t read disks. Any idea's?

Thanks in advance!

Default Firmware Update

Panasonic has an updated firmware ver 1.7 that deals with The Dark Knight issues. You can download it from their website

Hope it helps

Had this same problem with my 35 only it happened to me while I was playing CD's. The laser went bad that reads CD's and I had to send it in for a laser replacement. Apparently there is a different laser for CD's, DVD's and Blu-ray's. Check to see if it'll still read either of the other two discs. Good luck, Tim.
