Chat Room - Blu-ray Forum

How about some sort of chat room option when you first get into the forum, maybe towards the bottom? I've seen some forums have that at the top of the forum. If not this, how about a link to an official chat room through Yahoo! or AIM chat?

actually on the newest version of Vbulletin it has social groups. Basically as user creates a "room" and that user moderates it and can choose who can post in it. The group is public, you can read even if you cant post. Its kinda cool as it eliminates BS threads and the posts dont count.
Thw way I understand it though is the developers have put alot of custom work in this version so a upgrade is probably not likely. I guess thats why there is yahoo IM

Yeah, this site could have a web version of an IRC chat room, that would work, too.
