Default Harold & Kumar; Bottoms or Tops?

Can this even be done with DVD?

I am so impressed with the 'Control Your Own Movie' thing. It's so creative!
I love how the movie just ends if they don't escape from jail.

Is there any other Blu-ray out there that's creative like this?

It can be done on DVD using branching -- though not as smoothly as on Blu-ray. Return to House on Haunted Hill was the first Blu-ray to try this "Choose your own adventure"-type of thing.

As for Blu-rays that are "creative like this," I'd argue that the movies themselves should be creative. I just want the discs to play the movie. But, Harold and Kumar isn't exactly Citizen Kane, so if they want to turn it into a video game, that's fine.

^^ incorrect. Final Destination 3 on DVD was the first that I know of that had this feature. While it may be some what limited due to space and not as seemless as BD, it was out before Return to House on Haunted Hill.

Pay attention. He said the first BLU RAY, not first DVD.

I like how it has the alternate takes and has the option to end depending on what you choose. Have you tried selecting where Kumar doesn't smoke on the plane?

I am not sure if the Harold and Kumar control is really creative. It seems to be mostly alternate takes of the film maybe shot for a different rating or parts that were cut to streamline the film. But there are the few options that guide the movie into a different direction and to a premature end.

As mentioned above, Final Destination 3 on DVD has a "Choose Their Fate" option that lets alter the way people died in that movie and maybe even save a few. Also Return to House on Haunted Hill on Blu-ray and HD-DVD has a similar feature where you can choose what people do and what happens to alter the film and ending. Return to House on Haunted Hill says it has "96 frightening possibilities."

I am not sure what other movies have a similar feature, these are the only three I know of.

Sorry, I missed the Blu-ray part of his statement.
