Default mitsubishi 60 inch tv

This rear projection tv is 1599. Do you think this is a good tv for the price and will it come down. This is a 1080p dlp tv from best buy and circuit city.

The first question I would ask is how ambient light is in the room where you watch tv. Rear projection tv's suffer the most in picture quality from ambient light.

I had a 57" Mitsu for a couple of years and I liked it. The above posters are spot on about the price. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a better deal.

I also had the Mitsubishi DLP 1080P for about a year and a half, until the bulb burnt out Then, when i found out it would be burning out every year and a half (we watch alot of tv) i was pissed! A small detail the salesperson at Fry's didnt fill me in on. Luckily the warranty i purchased along with the tv, covered the first bulb replacement for free. If it hadnt, it would have run me approx 250 dollars. I quickly sold the tv shortly after. Paying 250 every year and a half after the purchase date to keep the tv in working condition sounded rediculous to me! Just my opinion.
