Harold & Kumar 2 audio issues?

I got my disc for this movie from netflix last night. It has a DTS HD-MA 7.1 soundtrack on it. This was going through a PS3 set on PCM being sent to an Onkyo 605. Throughout the movie I had random "popping" sounds coming from my rear speakers mostly. I had one pop that sounded like it came from all my speakers except for my sub.

Anyone else watched this movie and experienced the same issue?

I didn't have time to watch it again to see if the audio pops would be reproduced, but I will tonight.

I watched it twice, once regularly and the other time I use the dude change the movie special feature, I didn't hear any popping sounds, normal and uneventful for me

The only issue I noticed was the movie locking up multiple times which I blame on possible firmware issues.

Do you have a 5.1 or a 7.1 speaker setup? Mine stopped popping after I shut off the 7.1 options on the PS3 since I only have a 5.1 setup, forgot they were still on. That seemed to stop the popping, for me anyway

Have you already updated the firmware on your 605? If you didn't already, that might be causing the problem.

Hmmm...I noticed some popping while watching this movie on my PS3. I'll have to check those options now. Maybe if I change that, it will fix the problem. Thanks!

I have a 5.1 setup. I don't think I have my ps3 set for 7.1, but I'll have to check tonight. thanks!

my 605 is updated as far as i know. i checked about 3 months ago.
wasnt the update for the bitstream bomb? i cant bitstream from my ps3 so that shouldnt matter i wouldnt think...
