Default Historical description - BD vs. HD-DVD

Is there somewhere on WWW or in this website some kind of nice and near, quite compact list of important and/or key events in all this stuuf that's going on since 2002-2003 ? Please post a link here or give your contribustion to make one !
First how its all started and why.
I would like to see each year decribed in dozen sentences or just couple of dozen if there were lots of things going no - which company makes what announcements, what really gets on market and how it sells in numbers, who is behind what. How early adopters base fluctuates, how symapthy switches forth and back. How movie studios plays the role and defines all this movement etc. ...
If there no one such historical overview (suppose it could be made unbiased) then some maybe is up to making one ?

I don't know of a specific site, but Wikipedia is a great place to start looking...
