Tekken 5 goes online-play on the PlayStation Network

- 2800 Yen for full online game, 1000 yen to update existing Tekken 5 DR.

This game should have been online from the off and included a practice mode and offer more of those neat downloadable movies for characters.

Just hope this upgrade doesn't cost more than a couple of pounds at best.

I am a HUGE Tekken nut, and I, for one, can't wait to see this game online.

But sadly, the only Tekken DR game that I own is for the one on the PSP.BUt I will be making my purchase for the PS3 soon though.

I think paying is stupid. When I got the game I am sure it said 'Full Game'. So the update should be free. Unless they are sneaky and sell it as a different game instead of an update.

I think Alienware should upgrade my PC every 6 months.. You knew what you were buying and must have thought the content was reasonable enough for the price. The staff that helped put the extra modes together wouldn't have worked for free.

What's unacceptable is when the content is already on the disk and a downloadable 'key' unlocks it. Games like Viva Pinata and one of those KOEI slashers have done this.

I agree, I figured the online play was already there, like every other game...

I just saw a video on gametrailers.com and they said it would be out at the end of August? Besides that it doesn't really give a street date.

i'd rather have tekken 6.

Bought Tekken 5 DR for GBP 6 to my JPN PS3, with SDTV monitor. Did not work until I switched to HDTV (green all over the screen, no other colour)
