Does anyone here want Suspiria to be released on BD badly?

That movie is awsome, but as Weinstines bought the rights to the remake and also original, i dont see it happening anytime soon. Maybe if and when the remake gets released, they will probs bring out an SE then. I dont own the dvd yet so was holding out for the Blu.

This should NOT be remade and how can it be remade this is a master piece of the horror genre and yes I can see this comming to BD real soon

Well this is hollywood we are talking about so of course they gonna remake it. Which I will not watch, you cant make a classic any better by remaking it. Only 2 exceptions are Hills Have Eyes and Dawn of The Dead.

Hell they are even remaking Let The Right One In which is already a classic to me but at least thats comming out in march in the US.

A HD master was done, issued in france on SD by Wild Side, under the DP supervision, and alas, if about 70% of the movie looks great, he went wild on about 30% of the master, burning off all the whites, going nuts with the colors, to critical outrage. Just browse the web. If it comes out in the same master, it will be a useless buy, even if it looks better in parts than all versions out there.

If they fix the master, like the work done on the 007 movies (where both Pal and NTSC SD versions were having many problems, all fixed for the HD reissue), then it will blow fans away.

My guess is they won't fix anything and release as is.
