Well the time has come to purchase a new tv, im moving up in the world and beginning to take a great consideration into movie watching a game playing.

Couple of Questions:
I want to use the TV mainly for (Sports watching, PS3 Gaming and Blu-Rays) do you think this tv i have in mind will suit my needs?

Is this a good tv to watch football on for having minimal to no lag, pixelating?

I plan on hooking the tv up to the receiver for HD sound.

Wall mount or tv stand?

Any other questions you have for me ill be glad to answer. I decided to post here because ive noticed how helpful every can be. Im up for any suggestions. My biggest concern is that i just dont want any pixelation or lag, and i chose LCD because i want to set the tv pretty bright for games and not worry about burn in.

Thanks in advance to all who help

i got the 52A650 and it's great with no issues at all.
the 650 series is without doubt a milestone in LCDs technology with its picture quality and features, beyound this things can't get much better, (until they release laser technology).
highly recommneded.

Panasonic 800u Plasma...CNET.com the #1 HDTV Go to the reviews and watch the it..I have this set and it is BADASS!!.. 480hz sub feild, 24p, 1,000,000 to 1 contrast and Engadgethd says that if u leave it on for 24/7 you will not notice anything untill 11 years later. They say the 800u will be the 1 to get for anyone who is getting the best and what they pay for.

Since you're willing to spend over 2 grand, just go for their 52" models. Every inch helps for 1080p.

Oh, and I see you're in NJ. Ever heard of PC Richard? Their service is great, fast delivery (I got mine the same day I ordered!) and you can ask for discounts. Bought Samsung 52" LN52A750 model for $2600. Got free home delivery as well.

Very satisfied with the product. If you must get it from Best Buy, then either do price match or go for LN52A650 (around $2500) - another better model.

I like the TV, friend of mine has it. Great picture. The only thing I don't like about it is... and you might not care but, I don't like the red tint around the frame I'm really picky when it comes to frames.
