Default Panasonic TH50PZ85U

Hey all,
Just got my new tv yesterday. This is the best plasma I have yet! This is also my third plasma. I was watching the Fifth Element and POTC, it looked so real. This tv is awesome, especially with the 24p. Hope to hear back from you all.

Hmmm... there seems to be at least one of these threads a day started about the new Panasonic plasmas.

Why can't you people understand that you bought one of the best plasmas? These things are incredible - but nobody seems to believe it until they get it home and crank it on

Welcome to the wonderful world of Panasonic plasma....glad you enjoy it as much as we do!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but this tv does a 2:3 pulldown and not a true 24p?

Said it does, but it does 2:3 pulldown, and when I went into the setup for 24p on the Panasonic Blu-ray player, it was highlighted yes or no, I chose yes and it looks 10x better.

When you do that it's the TV that does the 2:3 pulldown instead of the player.

I've got two Panasonic Plasmas including the TH-50PZ750U. I've had them both for a year now with no complaints! Great t.v.'s!

I have the 46PZ85U, a same model but just the 46 inch version and I love it! Panasonic plasmas are indeed awesome and worth it, especially when they go on sale!

Ive got the TH50PX80U. It does the 2:3 pulldown so I havent used the 24fps on the blu-ray player. Is it worth turning that feature on with my t.v.?
