Question Is the pulldown in 1080p/60 Tv's Toooo bad?

Hi guys i have a few questions here since i am considering to buy Sony KS-60R200A
Reading around i want to understand a few things:

1.Since the Tv has only 1080p/50 and 60 , will the Judder be too bad when playing a 1080p/24 movie(input from a 1080p/24)?
Will the Tv even play Movies in 1080p/24 input??

2.On the 360 and Ps3 , what format will the games run in 1080p? Will they be in 24,50,60?

3.The xbox360 lacks HDMI and will Display via VGA, should i wait for a Tv that accepts 1080p via VGA or Component?

4. As technology advances every few months how long should i wait, i was very eagerly waiting to get my hands on the above Tv and now looks like it is not the entire package (:

1. You will still get an excellent picture quality on the Sony SXRD sets even with out 1080P/24 input. The 1080P/24 input and refreshing the image at multiplies of the original frame does reduce judder. The current models of SXRD do not have this feature; we should see more expensive models with this feature from Sony around September. In the US there are 2 models of Sony LCD rear projectors that have 1080P/24 with refresh rates at multiplies of the original frame rate that is scheduled for a July release.
2. I think the games on the XBOX360 are in 480P and 720P (You might want to check this out some more since I do not remember fully about X-box). US games on the Sony PS3 are 720P/60 or 1080P/60. So if you’re going to be playing games a lot a displays with a 1080P/60 input is ideal.
3. There is not going to be what I consider major changes in technology for 5-10 years. BLU-RAY should be around for at least 10 years if not longer as a mainstream 1080P format. Possible in 10 years a holographic disc technology that holds terabytes of data will be hitting the market that offers 4K quality Hollywood movies. 1080P displays are a standard with 2 million pixels, over the next 5 years 1080P displays are going to just have minor improvements in contrast ratio, features, deeper color depth. Now possible in 5 years very expensive 2K projectors might start hitting the consumer market with better resolutions then 1080P. Then in 10 years very expensive 4K projectors should be on the market. Then again without a 2K or 4K movie format there is no major advantage of 2K or 4K projectors.

720P contains over one million pixels
1080P contains over two million pixels
2K contains over four million pixels
4K contains over eight million pixels

4. In 10 years when a replacement to BLU-RAY comes that offers 4K resolution then such high quality projectors will be needed. Technically if one is watching a widescreen movie with black bars they are not using the full resolution of the 1080P set since the black bars are taking up space on the screen. Now with a 2K or 4K projector one will be able to see full 1080P while watching movies at the original ratio. Then in 10 years when 4K movies are released on a holographic disc or some other technology consumers for the first time can enjoy 70MM films with over 8 million pixels.

3. All of the Westinghouse 1080P monitors have VGA inputs that accept 1080P/60 signals. Some other manufactories have VGA inputs also. It is rare to find a display that accepts 1080P over component. Since no consumer BLU-RAY or HD-DVD product offers 1080P over component this feature most likely will not show up on displays. HDMI and DVI are better quality then analog component. There would need to be several products on the market that have 1080P output over component before manufactories offer that feature on 1080P dispalys. The HDCP feature and the higher color gamut are only supported over digital connections.
Now in the future possible a third generation of the XBOX might be released that contains a HDMI output and either a built in BLU-RAY or HD-DVD player.

P.S.

Some people have had HDCP problems with some Westinghouse 1080P displays.

Default I am not sure about offical release dates for Asia and the rest of the world

Currently in the US the only Sony with 1080P/24 is a SXRD front projector. In July in the US Sony is scheduled to have two LCD rear projectors with 1080P/24 with correct refresh rates and possible some 1080P/24 SXRD might show up in September.
As for the rest of the world including Asia I do not know what Sony has planned. Just about any country that has BLU-RAY will also have some highend 1080P/24 displays. Over the next few years there will be a lot more displays released by many different companies around the world that accept a 1080P/24 signal with refresh rates at multiplies of the original frame (48HZ, 72HZ, 96HZ, 120HZ, etc)
Some of the cheaper lower cost displays coming out will take a 1080P/24 signal and convert it to 60HZ like all BLU-RAY and HD-DVD players do. For those types of displays it might be better to set ones BLU-RAY player to 60HZ if the frame rate conversion circuitry is better in the BLU-RAY player compared to the poorly made 1080P/24 display that only refreshes at 60HZ.
