Help setting up PS3 to T.V. - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys I'm new to this site but have visited many times and finally decided to join. Anyway I have a question that I need some help with. We have a 42'' LG LCD 720p TV and for some reason the picture will not show up when the PS3 is hooked up via HDMI cables, but the Xbox 360 does with no problem. Any certain setting I need to do in any way? Thanks guys!

The PS3 is set to Output video through HDMI and the TV is on the right Input setting?

I believe so but I will double check. we plugged the HDMI into both inputs on the TV and still no picture. Like I said, it will work with the 360 plugged in just fine but no picture when the PS3 is plugged in.

Here. Plug the HDMI cable into whichever HDMI input is on the TV.

Make sure the PS3 is off, though.

When you press the button on the PS3 itself to turn it on (not the remote/controller) - hold it down until it makes a second beep. Then it should come up.

Try that.
