Depends on if you're tv can pass blacker than blacks. If they can't, with the Full setting you get crushed blacks. Some say don't use RGB at all and use the YCrCb, because RGB doesn't make difference unless using a computer screen. To answer your question, I've used both and like RGB, but that's me..and I set it to full.

Try it out and see for yourself. I have mine set to limited. I set it to full one time and tried to play Uncharted. I couldn't even see where I was going. I changed it back and I could see everything just fine. It all depends on your TV.

![]() Limited outputs RGB video levels black 16-235 white Full outputs RGB computer levels black 0-255 white So you match the output to the display device. If your display does both, select one and calibrate for it, or select the one your other video devices output, etc. |
