Samsung LN32A540 - Blu-ray Forum

So I went with this tv from costco. I know some sites say its 1080p other say 720p so I have the 360 at 720p but for some reason the ps3 automatically registers at 1080p. Both are hooked up hdmi. I am shocked how amazing Monsters Inc looks on this tv...damn near HD with the upscaling. So I have the mode set to standard for normal cable, NO HD box (its in the bedroom) but I get locals in HD per the built in tuner and standard for the ps3 and xbox. Movie mode seems a little darker. I also turned off the digital NR per recommendation. Anyhow just wanted to share the purchase I finally made and to say this is a great tv to have in the bedroom. Now I need either recommendations or find a used DVE disc and I will be set

It receives the signal at 1080p and then downscales it to 720p. Congrats on purchase
