Default Godfather review??

Did I miss the review post? I did a search and came up empty. Ironman is up...where are the screen caps/review of the newly remastered Godfather trilogy?

And when they do, GF Trilogy is going to be a super long marathon of movie watching for the reviewers. I have to hand it to them because it is a tremendous amount of work reviewing movies for us BD fanboys. Kudos to the Blu-ray.com film critics. I truly value their reviews (I am certain I speak for many of us here).

my god, the most anticipated release in a few years for me tho, given the capabilities of Blu and the history of poor quality SD DVD's... I have it on pre-order, and have ditched my SD box, so will be happy with whatever I get, but cannot wait to see how the PQ stacks up on it... my fingers are crossed on this one

There's a $10 coupon available for this as well, off the DVD or Blu-ray version. Can't post, but it will be available.

Is that $10 per individual GF movie? If so then we could potentially get a $30 upgrade rebate! That would be sweet.

I have GFTR (Godfather Trilogy Restoration) on pre-order too. The fact that this is a complete RESTORATION supervised by Francis Ford Cupollo really has me excited. The frosting on the cake is the reported REMIXED (corrected and cleaned up) sound track. Looking forward to the BD reviews.

Thank you. We really appreciate that. I'll be handling the Matrix box set. Talk about a lot of work!

Reviews and screencaps are already up for the remastered DVD (in other forums,) which looks interesting. All the colors have been fixed up, so most indoor scenes have a more 'orange' look and, oddly, most of the Siciliy scenes are less orange (you might have noticed, on earlier dvds, the colors of Sicily in Part III weren't as vibrant as Part II? Well, apparently, that's how the whole trilogy is supposed to look)

Do some searches, you should find plenty of reviews of the restoration, etc.
Only thing that remains to be scene RE: the Blu-Ray is wether Paramount can find a way to f___ it up with DNR, etc. (edge enhancement probably won't be a problem, since that tends to only affect older transfers)
