Default Center Channel Help

Well, It seems I'm in the midst of a ripple effect right now and it's killing me. Basically I picked up a ps3 which was mainly for the blu-ray. Plugged it in and a few movies were not in dolby digital 5.1 so I was only getting surround via dsp.

Then I picked up a receiver that could support TrueHD and now everything sounds great (in my opinion) except for the center channel.

I have bose cubes for fronts and rear and the bose center channel. The bose do have a lot of highs but I still like the overall sound. Anyway, I tried everything but all I seem to get is midrange sound from the center. It's almost painful to listen to. Before the bluray and receiver I never had a problem with it. I wasn't overall happy but it still sounded acceptable.

I should not even be considering buying a center channel right now but I am anyway. There is now way I can buy a complete new system so to go against everything I know about voice matching, what can I buy for a center channel that will produce a nice sounding, with enough high end and less mid-range that will be as closely matched as possible.

It's going to be a long time before I can invest in a new system so I need to do this....

Please help. I can't live without my surround sound lol
