In regards to The Happening, I wont threadcrap but strongly urge this one as a rental first. I think if people blind buy (regardless of how strong the AQ/PQ turns out to be, then there will be some angry viewers.

They could always sell it if they didn't like it. In some cases, you could even profit from it if you bought it cheap. You know there's always someone out there who would buy it no matter how bad a movie is, case in point: Meet the Spartan or Norbit. lol And I doubt this movie is as bad as those two.

this film does not deserve the negative hype.
its not everyone, but neither are a lot of movies.

i blame it on the studio, misleading advertisement.
i recommend. cant wait to read some blu-ray reviews.

It was different. I think it's a decent movie. Like someone else said earlier, it's a better rental.

We now join "The Happening thread", already in progress...

I saw this in the theater and was a little...underwhelmed. Without spoling it, the story just doesn't add up to much. In the end, you have a "that was it?" type of moment. So, mildy disappointed, but it may be worth a rent if you haven't seen it.

There's been a couple of threads about him - I did a brief search just now and couldn't find 'em.

Basically - he'll go through all the active posts and just have a one sentance response / post that normally has nothing or very little to do with the topic at hand. Whenever you see a post of his you can bank on the fact that it is useless to the thread.

Quite simply - he is a waste of oxygen.
