Default Just got a onkyo 705!!!

so i got a onkyo 705 today, and i am going to run sony speakers for now(i have 4 of the ss-b1000s, the ss-cn5000 center and the sa-w2500 sub.). i hope it is an improvement over the sony htss2000 htib it is replacing. i am going to use 16 gauge wire and i bought some banana connectors. is there any other suggestions?

I think you've got a good thing going. Just don't cross any wires and you'll be fine!

You don't need to do it immediately, but I would upgrade to at least 14 ga or 12 ga speaker wire, particularly for the longer runs to your surrounds. Great receiver. You will be happy.
