Default Cancelling Narnia. No extended cut = no sale

Shame too. But I'm not rewarding companies that do this type of thing.

Nope, gonna be a bastard and buy mine just the way it is. Want to reward them for putting this out. Yes I would like the extended version but you know they probably did the math to see how many ultimate collections were sold vs the standard movie. I bought both cause I liked it so much. By no means does the theatrical version suck. Is the extended better? Maybe to some but not important enough to me to boycott this release.

Disney deserves praise for putting this title out. Maybe the extended material requires further restoration for a BD release than for regular DVD? A regular DVD release requires a ton of work. BD even more so.

Frankly, I'd rather have the theatrical cut with excellent PQ/AQ rather than a half assed looking extended cut.

Honestly, Blu is still in it's infancy (less than two years!) and the amount of hissy fits being thrown because certain big titles/or titles with additional footage aren't being released quick enough is getting very silly.

Disney really goes all out to support blu-ray. I for one will be supporting this release with my $.

i'm willing to bet many of you will purchase the next version with the extended cut and added features. i'm not.

it's not a great movie anyway (LOTR pretty much sealed the fate of this genre for years to come)

it's the same reason I won't purchase terminator 2. and if this same stunt is pulled with LOTR, I'll bet you all are SCREAMING MAD.

You sir are correct! I probably would buy it again.

Narnia is nothing like LOTR. Narnia, my 4.5 year old enjoys. TOTR will give him nightmares.

Default I care quit ripping us off Disney!!

I will wait and buy the extended cut too. This is ping me off! I get all excited about a movie coming out only to find out that they give me the stripped down version for 34.99.. Piece of garbage

I'm with you on this. No buy for me either.

I know the extended cut will be released eventually, and I'm more than happy to spend my money elsewhere until it does get released.

Same reason I'm not buying ID4. Same reason I didn't buy Fantastic 4, Mr and Mrs Smith, The Punisher, Terminator 2, etc etc.

I don't play this double dip game with the studios.

Exactly. Now if this was LOTR, Id still buy, but I would be pissed because thats like 2.5 hours of extra movie you miss out on

You're right about that.

And you can bet any amount of money that the first LOTR releases on BD will be the theatrical.

Then you might as well have waited to get Blu ray until the next format was coming up because remakes and special editions are made every few years
