Default Fantastic Four Extended Cut

Does anyone know if FF is coming out with the extended cut in the near future because I saw the DVD version and it was much better with extended and new scenes than the original cut?

It probably will be released eventually, just not anytime soon.

Here you can see the difference...

CLICK THIS

Theater Version: 106min

Extended Version: 126min

12 scenes longer with 20:11 minutes

Why don´t they bring the extended version from the beginning
( like Ghost Rider...for instance )

I don't know, but they really need to make a remastered version of Fantastic 4 on Blu-ray since the first one has poor PQ and is MPeg2 on a 25GB disc.

So, still a no-go on the extended version of Fantastic Four on Blu-Ray?

I doubt we'll ever see it since the series is dead. If the Fantastic Four comes back, the series will be rebooted.

If the Extended version was shown in the cinema, i believe it would've been better received....

But, Daredevil's extended/directors cut was rated R. I'm sure they didn't want to go down that route since it would knock out all the possibilities of the kids seeing it and hoping for a sequel or buying the toys!

Im all for R rated/original material, but Watchmen and Punisher will probably be the only comic book characters we see in R rated form. Well... Blade as well...

I agree that most people would be put off by an R rated comic book movie (and by the box office receipts, it's true), but the DD director's cut was far better than the theatrical (it made more sense, from a story telling point). Fox should have just released the FF extended cut the same way Sony did when Spider-man 2 came to blu. Both movies on one 50GB disc or 2 separate discs.

I'd like to see an extended cut of Rise of the Silver Silver myself.

I thought the extended cut of Daredevil made that movie so much better. Its a shame its not the one that was released to theater

Rumor has it that Fox is working on reboots of both Fantastic 4 and Daredevil, so if that does happen, it's always possible we could see a new BD then.
