Whip It: BD case is NOT Green. Wasn't it suppose to be? - Blu-ray Forum

Stopped at best buy today and saw all the 10 copies there with the regular Blue color BD case. Wasn't it suppose to be a Green Blu-ray case?

Not that it plays any important matter to me, but the cover was advertised with a green case. and i read somewhere here that some had seen it with the green case. Oddly my best buy had all in standard blue cases.

i think a green case makes it standout for once on a blu-ray library. something different, like Incredible Hulk was some years back.

I have my copy showing up from Amazon, tomorrow. But all of the cases I've seen, at Best Buy Wal-mart and Target, were all green. I'll post back here and report how my copy is when it arrives.

Maybe they ran out of green at the factory, and had to switch to blue?

Is not like ive gone elsewhere. Just Best Buy for today. Weekend am definitely checking Target, Bj's or Costco see whats up.

I got green from Amazon and I like it.

In fact, I think it would be cool if more cases used different colors. I think it looks cool.

When I picked my copy up at Best Buy today, all three copies they still had were in green cases. Some people's guesses in here are as good as mine.

. Ill have to check Target over the weekend for sure. So now i know through aminwater that it wasn't just my local best buy just carrying the Blue case.

At first I thought this thread was about someone complaining they DIDN'T get an eco case.

I got a green one, and am happy to say it was NOT an eco-case. Sadly I've resorted to running my fingers over the covers now just to see if I can feel the disappointment, not that it'll deter me from buying a movie...just makes me wonder which non-eco-case at home I'm gonna swap it with.

Got mine in a green case from Target. Right after that I went to Best Buy right down the street and they had it in a blue case

I love the movie, don't get me wrong, but I really doubt they printed so many BD copies that they ran out of green cases. The movie barely broke even and I doubt the in-home demand will outstrip supply any time soon.

ObAnecdatum: My copy from Target was in a green case. Came with a "Digital Copy" DVD too.
