Default Wow I've been spending so much money on blu's lately

Yeah in September and now October I have been spending so much on blu-rays

Lets see in September I bought:
Transformers
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Godfather Trilogy
Iron Man
Superman Returns
Speed Racer
Under Siege 2(lol)
The Sixth Sense

in October:
Interview With the Vampire
Sleeping Beauty(just bought from Best Buy)
Indiana Jones (actually getting it free from Amazon)
American Gangster(actually getting this free from Amazon too)
Casino
Matrix Collection(pre-ordered this in August)
Incredible Hulk.

Wow I just realized that I will be receiving Casino, American Gangster, Indiana Jones, and the Matrix Collection sometime next week. Even though these were pre-orders from Amazon and or Warner, I never bought so many blu-rays in one week.

Pre-ordered titles:
Dark Knight
Kung Fu Panda
Wall-E
A Christmas Story

I really should start cutting back on purchases as im actually low in funds.

What titles have you bought and pre-ordered in these last few months or so?

And how much blu-rays have you purchased within less than a week?

Yeah, I got a ton of Blu's in Sept, most of which I haven't even looked at.

It's weird. During the summer and holiday seasons, there really aren't that many titles I want to get. But I remember in the 1st quarter this year, there was a ton of titles I want to get.

Yea it's been getting pretty bad for me too. Since Transformers came out, I bought:

Transformers
Shoot 'Em Up
Underworld
Underworld: Evolution
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Crash
Aeon Flux
Reservoir Dogs
V for Vendetta
Kill Bill: Vol. 1
Kill Bill: Vol 2
Ultraviolet
1408
L.A. Confidential
Blow
Superman Returns
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Good Luck Chuck
Iron Man
30 Days of Night
Black Snake Moan
Unbreakable
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
The Nightmare Before Christmas

AND on top of those, I got House: Season 4, Ren & Stimpy: Season 5 and Boondock Saints on DVD.

This is all since September 3.
I've been buying blu-rays since June of 2007.
So although I've been buying blu-rays for 16 months now, in the last MONTH, I've purchased about 35% of my current blu-ray collection. That's pretty insane to me.

I started buying BD's in April '08 when I bought my PS3-60GB and I haven't gone crazy. But I have increased my purchases in the last 2 months and I can see that continuing for the next few months as well.

There are at least a dozen titles soon to be released that I want, along with some others I haven't gotten around to buying just yet. I have a feeling that 2009 is going to see some significent releases from back-catalogue titles. And if the prices go down (which they should) we'll see more and more shelf-space devoted to BD titles. More space = more impulse! Damn!

I started buying BD movies since the middle of January and have bought over 400 of them. Still adding them to the collection database feature here and took me most of my evening to put them in.

I've bought quite a few lately as well. Except for a few new releases I have bought the majority of them used on Amazon though. Easier on the wallet that way.

I've spent a lot, too, but it's going to have to slow down since there's about 10 PS3 games I want in the next month.

Of course, "slowing" down in blu-ray means I'll only get about 8-10 more (including Band of Brothers) before the end of the year.
