Default KURO 5020 or PRO-111FD

Ok, continuing my road to a KURO I am now comparing the 5020 to the PRO-111FD. Would I be that disapponited with the money savings of getting the 5020 or is the PRO worth that much more having more tweaks to pic settings. Let er rip and give me your best opinion...

Elite's have a longer warranty (2 years) and better processing. Some feel the video payback is minimal, others notice a distinct difference if sharpness and more vibrant color depth and black level. Best to visually compare.......

Several industry magazines have called the Kuro Pro Elite 111/151 FDs "the best TV in the world".
I have the 151 and am blown away by the video. Blacks are BLACK!

Buying tip:
Go to Abt.com, look at the price, then phone and ask for Brian English at extension 2617. Ask him for the "store price" and tell him Russ from Orchard Park suggested you call.
Free shipping, no tax, excellent customer service.
Mine arrived with a cracked screen and they replaced it within a week, no questions.
The 2 year guarantee shows the confidence Pioneer has in the Elite, and there is a seperate customer service # for Elite TVs.
Go Elite!

Get the PRO-111FD. It's one of the best flat panel TV's ever designed.

So far I am getting a sense the ELITE is worth the extra money. I have a store here local that will do the PRO-111FD for $3,199.00 but I will have to pay tax, I may have to give ABT a call and see what the "special price" would be. I hear 3199 is a real good price on that TV. Let me know your thoughts.

if you can afford the elite. might as well get the best. also, get it calibrated by one of these guys...

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...269&highlight=

and have them unlock the isf modes which will give you the most accurate picture, added detail, more depth, even more shadow detail and perfect colors. then you will have the best tv on the market right now.

but if you can save more and have the space...i would go for the pro 151 for being fully immersed in the picture
