Will you be watching W.? I for one will. I think this will be a good look at what drove him to be the man he is today. I expect alot from this movie. Ebert gave it 4 stars.

Of course I will, Josh Brolin looks to get a possible nomination. Then theres the great number of positive reviews...its a must see for me.

But then I have to see Max Payne after it

Man they are crucifying Max Payne. I'm still mad it's only PG-13 and the director was saying he wanted to make a dark movie. FOR 13 YEAR OLDS.

Lets just hope Mark's acting is better in this than in The Happening... Ouch...

a) Roger Ebert is a famous democrat and even more famous Bush-hater. He gave the excrement known as Fahrenheit 911 4 stars.

b) Roger Ebert is a well-known supporter of Oliver Stone's work. He gave Natural Born Killers 4 stars, and seemed to endorse the kookbag conspiracy theories of JFK.

c) If you want a "good look" at what drove George W. Bush to "be the man he is today", I would hardly turn to Oliver Stone for that particular insight. This is the same man who overtly implied that Richard Nixon was complicit in the assassination of JFK.

im going to see W either this weekend or the next. im certainly not going to take the movie as being overly factual, as there are certainly over-exagerations in it. however, it will be a fun ride.

Riiiiiiight.... We're suppsed to believe that the Hollywierd liberals are going to present anything but distortion, supposition and inuendo? I won't take such a film as this as fact, but I will be watching this because I'll be interesting to see the director's perception of Bush. It'll be fun humor at least. The film's release date (several weeks before the election) is obviously set for a purpose.

I'm not a fan of Oliver Stone's politically based films. He's a big fan of stretching or shading the truth in order to make it more entertaining, despite his denial of doing either. Of course, when you're high on pot, coke, or 'shrooms while your'e filming you could easily get confused as to what's real and what's not.

He does some amazing and innovative things as a director, but when practically EVERY film he makes comes with a list of "fact vs fiction" caveats, it kind of ruins your credibility.

Not that it matters, people who hate Bush will salivate over it and believe even the most rediculous claims even if proven false, and people who love Bush blindly will instantly dismiss the whole thing as propaganda. But it's totally and fully a political film released at a time (a month from election) for the sole reason of helping Barrack Obama get elected.

The director said there will be a better version on BD/DVD.
